The Eckert–Mauchly Computer Corporation(March 1946 – 1950) was founded by J. Presper Ekert and John Mauchly, and was incorporated on December 22, 1947. These people Created the First generation of computer. Ekert was born on April 9, 1919 and died on June 3, 1995. He grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. John Mauchly was born on August 30, 1907 and died on January 8, 1980. He grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
